Key Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Build and implement custom Shopify and Webflow solutions, following best practices across our client portfolio.
• Shopify Expertise: Develop stores from scratch, including theme customization with Liquid, custom section development, and app integrations (Recharge, Klaviyo, Gorgias).
• Webflow Mastery: Create sophisticated Webflow sites using CMS collections, complex interactions/animations, and custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Design Implementation: Translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify and Webflow implementations.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize site performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals for all developed properties.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee junior developers and freelancers; conduct code reviews and quality assurance.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Shopify (checkout, payments, inventory) and Webflow (CMS, animations, hosting).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to ensure technical feasibility and optimal UX.
• Conversion Optimization: Implement CRO tactics including A/B testing, checkout flow improvements, and landing page optimization.
• Project Leadership: Act as project lead on website builds and migrations when needed.
• Mentorship: Train team members on Shopify Liquid, Webflow best practices, and e-commerce standards.
• Process Development: Create reusable development processes, component libraries, and documentation for scalable delivery.
• Industry Awareness: Stay current with latest Shopify features (Checkout Extensibility, Hydrogen/Oxygen) and Webflow updates.
• Technical Audits: Conduct audits and identify improvement opportunities for existing client sites.
• Internal Support: Manage updates and maintenance for the Technotch corporate website as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience developing Shopify and Webflow sites, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proven track record of successfully launched Shopify stores (Plus experience is a plus) and complex Webflow marketing sites.
• Extensive experience with Shopify Liquid, Webflow Designer/Editor, and e-commerce best practices.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Webflow CMS API, custom code embedding, and Client-First methodology.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, conversion optimization, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with version control (Git/GitHub) and development workflows.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals as they relate to site structure and performance.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Lahore office (Gulberg III).
• Our office features an open setting that may include bright lights and ambient noise.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while working.
• Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data effectively.
• Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and virtually.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, mouse).
